Tanner Paints ‘God with Us’</strong></em> <br /><strong>February 5th</strong><br /><em>12:45 pm</em><br /><br /><em>On January 28th an international exhibition opened in Philadelphia, one that will surely be of interest to Christians throughout the Delaware Valley. Entitled Henry Ossawa Tanner: Modern Spirit, it features the paintings of an important African-American painter. On February 5th the Lecturing Fellow for the show, Jeff Richmond-Moll, will be at Westerly Road Church to present an “illustrated Bible study” entitled Immanuel: Henry O. Tanner Paints ‘God with Us.’ Highlighting Tanner’s paintings of Christ’s Incarnation and the biblical texts they capture, Jeff will uncover some of the insights Tanner’s paintings offer in approaching Scripture, working with them as theological treatises in visual form.</em><br /><br /><strong>Tour of Henry O.
